July 2026

We invite you to join us in intentional prayer. Included below are prayer points that speak directly to the times we are living in. Let's stand together in faith and expectation for all that God will do.
Global
Prayer for the peace of Jerusalem
This is a prayer for physical safety and geopolitical stability. It is also a spiritual prayer looking forward to the peace coming with the return of the Messiah.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you” - Psalm 122:6
National
Pray for our 250 years as a Christian nation
The first New World settlers landed on the shore of Cape Henry Virginia April 29, 1607. They brought with them a roughhewn wooden cross. This 7-foot cross was set into the ground to give glory to God for their endeavor. Robert Hunt spoke these words, “…from these very shores the Gospel shall go forth to not only this New World but the entire world.”

“All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.” - Psalm 22:27
State
Safety for our people and property at the coast
As we are fully into hurricane season, pray for the One who calmed the storm on the sea of Galilee to be with us as we weather the storms in the Atlantic.

“…he awoke and rebuked the wind and raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm. He said to them, 'Where is your faith?'...” Luke 8:24-25
Local
Pray for our first responders during the July 4th holiday
Our police, firefighters and EMS will be very busy this coming holiday trying to keep everyone safe, pray for their safety as well.

"I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them." - 1 Timothy 2:1-3
Glory House
Pray for our Pastors and Leaders
Lift up our pastors and leaders daily. They are on the front lines fighting the battle for our souls.  As they are faithful to pray for us, be faithful to pray for them.

“Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.” - Ephesians 6:19
Family
Pray for families to be strong in the Lord
Pray for our families to be bound together in strength and devotion to the Lord. Pray they are covered by love and protection.

“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.” - Colossians 3:14
