In Christ

“It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me...” What a profound reality!
Jesus is many wonderful things, so I could say, "It is no longer I who live, but faithfulness lives in me." It is no longer I who live, but love lives in me. It is no longer I who live, but peace lives in me. It is no longer I who live, but joy lives in me.

So I could also say, "I am faithfulness. I am love. I am peace. I am joy." Not because these qualities originate from me, but because Christ, who is all of these things, lives in me.

Or I am Sonshine!

I decided to experience a new "In Christ" reality each day. Today, because Jesus reigns in me, I am "unlimited!" Not unlimited in my own strength, wisdom, or ability, but unlimited by the life of Christ flowing through me. His love has no limit. His grace has no limit. His wisdom has no limit. His power has no limit. As I yield to Him, I discover that what once seemed impossible becomes possible through His life in me.

Tomorrow, I may awaken to the reality that I am peace. The next day, courage. The next day, compassion. Every day is another opportunity to discover who Christ is in me and through me. The more I behold Him, the more I become aware that I am not trying to become something—I am learning to live from Someone.
